The following items are among those scheduled for consideration by the Florida Public Service Commission (PSC) at its Tuesday, June 25, Commission Conference:
ITEM 2: Docket No. 130105-WS – Application for certificates to provide water and wastewater service in Hendry and Collier Counties by Consolidated Services of Hendry & Collier, LLC. The Commission will address a staff recommendation to approve the company’s petition for original water and wastewater certificates and a variance request from certain filing requirements.
ITEM 4: Docket No. 120209-WS – Application for increase in water and wastewater rates in Marion, Orange, Pasco, Pinellas, and Seminole Counties by Utilities, Inc. of Florida (UIF). The Commission will consider a staff recommendation to suspend the utility’s current rate request and adopt the proposed interim rates, pending a final decision on UIF’s rate request. UIF provides water and wastewater service to 22 systems throughout central Florida.
ITEM 5-8: Docket Nos. 130068-EI; 130069-EI; 130070-EQ; 130072-EQ; 130073-EQ; – Petition for approval of amended standard offer contracts by Duke Energy Florida, Inc.; approval of new standard offer contract and revised tariff schedule by Gulf Power Company; approval of renewable energy tariff and standard offer contract by Florida Power & Light Company; and revisions to standard offer contract and rate schedule by Tampa Electric Company. The Commission will address staff recommendations on the utilities’ proposed contracts to purchase capacity and energy from renewable energy generators.
