Items of Interest at Upcoming Florida PSC Commission Conference


TALLAHASSEE — The following items are among those scheduled for consideration by the Florida Public Service Commission (PSC) at its Tuesday, January 7, Commission Conference:

ITEM 2: Docket No. 120209-WS – Application for increase in water and wastewater rates in Marion, Orange, Pasco, Pinellas, and Seminole Counties by Utilities, Inc. of Florida. The Commission will consider a staff recommendation to revise the utility’s interim refunds based on rate case adjustments.

ITEM 5: Docket No. 130249-EI – Petition for approval of amended standard offer contract and rate schedule (Schedule COG-2), by Duke Energy Florida, Inc. The Commission will consider a staff recommendation on the utility’s petition to amend a previously approved standard offer contract to reflect its updated “avoided unit.”

ITEM 6 : Docket No. 130223-EI – Petition for approval of optional non-standard meter rider, by Florida Power and Light Company. The Commission will address a staff recommendation on the utility’s petition to approve a Non-Standard Meter Rider tariff for customers opting-out of smart meter installation.
