PSC Assists Bristol Area Seniors During Older Americans Month

TALLAHASSEE — The Florida Public Service Commission (PSC) is partnering with Liberty Senior Citizens Center on Thursday, May 29, to show seniors in the Bristol area how to save money on their utility bills during Older Americans Month.

Since 1963, communities and agencies across the state and nation have joined in the annual commemoration, a tradition that shows the state’s commitment to celebrating the contributions and achievements of older Florida residents.

PSC representatives will be in the Bristol area to distribute conservation information and assist eligible consumers in signing up for the Lifeline Assistance discounted telephone service program. Additional educational sessions are being held throughout the state.

The event is scheduled for the following time and location:

Thursday, May 29, 2014
11 a.m. – 12 p.m.

Liberty Senior Citizens Center
15629 N.W. CR12
Bristol, Florida
