The Florida Public Service Commission (PSC) will hold a technical hearing on Utilities, Inc. of Florida’s (UIF) request for consolidated rates beginning at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, May 8, 2017. The purpose of this hearing is to give UIF and intervenors an opportunity to present sworn testimony and exhibits in support of their positions.
From 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Monday, May 8, 2017, the PSC will hold an additional Customer Service Hearing in Tallahassee for customers of UIF. In January and February 2017, the PSC held eight customer service hearings in UIF’s service territory, where 200 UIF customers addressed the Commission.
UIF filed its petition for consolidated rates with the PSC on August 31, 2016. UIF currently provides water and wastewater service to 27 systems in 10 Florida counties.
