Items of Interest at Upcoming Florida PSC Commission Conference


TALLAHASSEE — The following items are among those scheduled for consideration by the Florida Public Service Commission (PSC) at its Tuesday, August 12, Commission Conference:

ITEM 4: Docket No. 140123-EU Joint petition for approval of territorial agreement in Franklin and Liberty Counties by Talquin Electric Cooperative, Inc. and Duke Energy Florida, Inc.  The Commission will address a staff recommendation on the utilities’ proposed 30-year territorial agreement.

ITEM 7: Docket No. 140119-TP 2015 State certification §54.313 and §54.314, annual reporting requirements for eligible telecommunications carriers to receive High Cost Program support.  The Commission will consider a staff recommendation to confirm to the Federal Communications Commission and the Universal Service Administrative Company that Florida telecommunications carriers are eligible to receive federal “high-cost” funds needed to reach rural areas in 2015.

ITEM 10: Docket No. 140070-EI Petition for approval of voluntary solar partnership pilot program and tariff, by Florida Power & Light Company.  The Commission will address a staff recommendation on the utility’s Voluntary Solar Partnership (VSP) Pilot Program and associated tariff.
