The Florida Public Service Commission (PSC) will conduct a hearing on Florida Public Utilities Company’s (FPUC) request for a rate increase beginning Monday, September 15. The hearing allows FPUC and other interveners to present sworn testimony and exhibits in support of their position. The PSC recently conducted service hearings in FPUC’s service area.
On April 28, FPUC filed a petition with the PSC for a base rate increase. FPUC provides electric service to approximately 31,000 customers in all or parts of 35 Florida counties.
The hearing is set for the following time and location:
Monday, September 15, 2014

Joseph P. Cresse Hearing Room (Room 148)

The hearing is expected to continue through Thursday, September 18, if needed, with a 9:30 a.m. start time.
