TALLAHASSEE —
The Florida Public Service Commission (PSC) will conduct two customer service hearings on Wednesday, January 16, for customers of Water Management Services, Inc. (WMSI). In November 2011, WMSI filed a petition with the PSC to increase its water rates. WMSI’s last approved rate case was in December 2010. WMSI provides water service to approximately 1,800 customers in Franklin County.
The hearings will allow customers to comment on WMSI’s rate request. Customer comments, written and oral, will be taken into consideration when the Commission reaches a decision. Commissioners will attend and participate during the hearings. Customers are invited to attend the hearings at the following times and location: Wednesday, January 16, 2013 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. St. George Island Volunteer Fire Department 324 E. Pine Avenue Eastpoint, FL 32328 (This location is on St. George Island) A technical hearing will follow the service hearings as time permits on Thursday, January 17, if necessary.
