The Florida Public Service Commission (PSC) will host two information sessions on Thursday, September 12, 2019, and Friday, September 13, 2019, in Marion County for residents to learn about the Lifeline Assistance (Lifeline) discounted telephone service program.
The events highlight National Lifeline Awareness Week 2019, September 9-13, which aims to raise awareness and increase participation in the Lifeline program. A representative will be available to provide applications for qualified residents. The events are scheduled for the following times and locations: Thursday, September 12, 2019 11 a.m. Belleview Church of Christ 12355 S. Highway 441 Belleview, FL 34420 And Friday, September 13, 2019 11:30 a.m. Marion Café 1101 SW 20th Court Ocala, FL 34471 The Federal Communications Commission, the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners, and the National Association of State Utility Consumer Advocates support National Lifeline Awareness Week.
