PSC Customer Meeting for Merritt Island Utility Company, Inc.
TALLAHASSEE — The Florida Public Service Commission (PSC) invites customers of Merritt Island Utility Company, Inc. (Merritt Island) to a customer meeting on Monday, November 4, to discuss the utility’s petition for a rate change. Customers can comment on Merritt Island’s proposed rates and any quality of service issues at the meeting. The last PSC staff-assisted rate case for this system occurred in 2008. Merritt Island provides wastewater service to approximately 140 residential customers and 1 general service customer in Brevard County.
