TALLAHASSEE —
The Florida Public Service Commission (PSC) will hold a hearing on Wednesday, July 22, on Wal-Mart and Florida Industrial Power Users Group’s (FIPUG) request to opt-out of cost recovery for investor-owned electric utility energy efficiency programs.
In a petition filed under Docket No. 140226-EI, the groups propose to separate the energy efficiency and load management segments of Florida utilities’ demand-side management (DSM) plans, which would allow qualifying large non-residential customers to opt out of the energy efficiency portion of the Energy Conservation Cost Recovery (ECCR) clause. The hearing is set for the following time and location: Wednesday, July 22, 2015 9:30 a.m. Betty Easley Conference Center Joseph P. Cresse Hearing Room (Room 148) 4075 Esplanade Way Tallahassee, Florida If needed, the hearing will continue on Thursday, July 23, beginning at 9:30 a.m. For additional information, visit www.floridapsc.com.
