TALLAHASSEE —
The Florida Public Service Commission (PSC) will hold a hearing beginning Tuesday, July 28, on Florida Power & Light Company’s (FPL) petition to purchase the Cedar Bay generating facility and terminate its existing power purchase agreement with Cedar Bay Generating Company.
During the hearing, parties will question witnesses and present evidence and testimony on the customer impact of FPL’s proposed Purchase and Sale Agreement with Cedar Bay. If approved, FPL projects that the Agreement would save customers $70 million.
