Items of Interest at Upcoming Agenda Conference 1/9/07 |

TALLAHASSEE — The following items are among those scheduled for consideration by the Commission at the January 9, 2007, Agenda Conference: ITEM 3: DOCKET NO. 060555-EI– PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO RULE 25-17.0832, F.A.C., FIRM CAPACITY AND ENERGY CONTRACTS. The Commission will consider a staff recommendation proposing rule amendments to encourage renewable generation in Florida. ITEM 7: DOCKET NO. 060531-EU – REVIEW OF ALL ELECTRIC UTILITY WOODEN POLE INSPECTION PROGRAMS. The Commission will consider a staff recommendation analyzing investor-owned electric utility data supporting variation from the Commission-ordered wooden pole inspection program. Additionally, the Commission will determine whether more information is required from municipal and cooperative electric utilities regarding their pole inspection practices. |
