FPSC Assists Jacksonville Area Seniors During National Consumer Protection Week

TALLAHASSEE — Florida’s Public Service Commission (PSC) is showing seniors in the Jacksonville area how to save money during the 10th annual National Consumer Protection Week, March 2-8, 2008. Financial Literacy: A Sound Investment is this year’s theme, and PSC representatives will visit area senior centers to share tips on how to lower residential utility bills.

Representatives from the PSC will be at the following locations in the Jacksonville area to talk about how consumers can make a sound investment, helping their pocketbook and the environment, by conserving energy and water resources.

PSC’s outreach teams will be at the following senior centers in Jacksonville:

Additional educational sessions are being held throughout the state.
