Florida Public Service Commission Considers Items of Interest at Upcoming Agenda Conference

TALLAHASSEE — The following items are among those scheduled for consideration by the Florida Public Service Commission (PSC) at the July 1, 2008 Agenda Conference:

Docket No. 080255-EIPetition for approval of standard interconnection agreements for expedited interconnection of customer-owned renewable generation and associated net metering tariff, by Tampa Electric Company.
Docket No. 080257-EIPetition for approval of net metering tariff, new interconnection agreements, and modification of various related tariff sheets, by Progress Energy Florida, Inc.
Docket No. 080260-EIPetition for approval of standard interconnection agreements for Tier 1 through Tier 3 customer-owned renewable generation systems and revisions to tariff sheets iv, 4.2, 4.16, and 9.1, by Gulf Power Company.
Docket No. 080265-EIPetition for approval of net metering tariff and standard interconnection agreements, by Florida Power & Light Company.
Docket No. 080294-EIPetition for approval of standard interconnection agreements for customer-owned renewable generation systems, by Florida Public Utilities Company.

The Commission will consider a recommendation to suspend the tariffs to give staff time to review the standard interconnection agreements and associated net metering tariffs to ensure compliance with the amended Rule 25-6.065, F.A.C.

ITEMS 8, 9, 10:  Docket No. 080001-EIFuel and purchased power cost recovery clause with generating performance incentive factor. The Commission will consider staff recommendations on requests for mid-course corrections on fuel adjustment charges for Florida Power & Light Company, Progress Energy Florida, Inc., and Florida Public Utilities Company.

ITEM 11: Docket No. 070626-EIReview of Florida Power & Light Company’s Sunshine Energy Program. The Commission will address concerns regarding FPL’s implementation of its existing Sunshine Energy Program.
