TALLAHASSEE —
The Florida Public Service Commission (PSC) will conduct two customer service hearings on Wednesday, July 2, 2008, for customers of Aqua Utilities Florida, Inc. (Aqua). Aqua is a water and wastewater utility providing service to 82 systems in Alachua, Brevard, DeSoto, Highlands, Lake, Lee, Marion, Orange, Palm Beach, Pasco, Polk, Putnam, Seminole, Sumter, Volusia, and Washington counties and has applied for an increase in rates.
The service hearings allow customers to comment on the proposed rates and any quality-of-service issues relevant to the utility. Customers are invited to attend the hearings at the following times and locations:
Wednesday, July 2, 2008 10:00 a.m. Alachua County Board of Commissioners Board Room (2nd Floor) 12 SE 1st Street Gainesville, Florida
6:00 p.m. St. Johns River Water Management District Governing Board Room 4049 Reid Street Palatka, Florida
