TALLAHASSEE —
Florida’s Public Service Commission (PSC) will hold a workshop on Tuesday, August 12, 2008, to discuss the 10-year site plans of Florida’s 11 largest electric utilities. Presentations will include an overview of the electric utility industry in Florida and an update of the Florida Cost-Based Broker System (FCBBS). The FCBBS is an electronic trading system used by utilities to buy and sell available generating capacity.
