The following items are among those scheduled for consideration by the Florida Public Service Commission (PSC) at the Tuesday, September 16, Agenda Conference:
ITEM 6: Docket No. 060614-TC – Compliance investigation of TCG Public Communications, Inc. for apparent violation of Section 364.183(1), F.S., Access to Company Records, and determination of amount and appropriate method for refunding overcharges for collect calls made from inmate pay telephones. The Commission will address a staff recommendation concerning a PSC investigation into the provision of inmate pay telephone service in Dade County during the years 2001 through 2007.
ITEM 8: Docket No. 080367-EG – Petition by Tampa Electric Company for approval to modify its renewable energy program. The Commission will consider a staff recommendation to drop the program’s mandatory one-year term of participation requirement.
ITEM 10: Docket No. 080256-EI – Petition by Progress Energy Florida, Inc. to modify its wood pole inspection plan. The Commission will consider a staff recommendation that would allow Progress to use an additional method to examine concrete encased poles.
ITEM 12: Docket No. 080072-GU – Petition by Florida Public Utilities Company for approval of a residential standby generator rate schedule. The Commission will consider a staff recommendation on a new rate schedule designed for residential customers who want to install a natural gas-fired electric generator.
ITEM 15: Docket No. 060122-WU - Joint petition for approval of stipulation on procedure with Office of Public Counsel, and application for limited proceeding increase in water rates in Pasco County, by Aloha Utilities, Inc. The Commission will consider a staff recommendation on a Florida Governmental Utility Authority request to abate the proceedings.
