Klement, Stevens to take Oath of Office, Argenziano to Assume PSC Chairmanship Tuesday

TALLAHASSEE — Commissioner David E. Klement and Ben A. “Steve” Stevens III will take their oaths of office Tuesday following their appointment to the Public Service Commission (PSC) by Governor Charlie Crist in September 2009.  Commissioner Nancy Argenziano, who was elected to a two-year term as Chairman beginning on January 2, will preside as chair for the ceremony.

The oath of office ceremony for Klement and Stevens, scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m., will be administered by the Honorable Mark E. Walker, Judge, Leon County Court, 2nd Judicial Circuit.  Both Klement and Stevens were appointed to four-year terms ending January 1, 2014.  Governor Crist also selected Klement to fill a vacant PSC Commissioner seat in October prior to beginning his four-year term.

Regularly scheduled agenda conference items will be taken up at 11:00 a.m.  Ceremonies will be conducted at the following location:

Klement and Stevens will join Chairman Nancy Argenziano and Commissioners Lisa Polak Edgar and Nathan A. Skop on the five-member panel.
