TALLAHASSEE —
Annual fuel adjustment charges approved by the Florida Public Service Commission (PSC) and their impact on residential customers of Florida Public Utilities Company (FPUC) are listed below.
These adjustments reflect fluctuations in the price paid by utilities for fuel and will become effective during the January 2006 billing cycle. The Commission allows utilities to recover fuel-related costs that are prudently incurred. The following monthly amounts are based on 1,000 kilowatt-hours (kWh) of use have been verified by PSC staff:
- Residential customers of FPUC – Marianna will pay $71.26 for 1,000 kWh of electricity. This reflects an increase of $1.70 when compared with the current amount of $69.56.
- A residential customer of FPUC – Fernandina Beach will pay $58.52 for 1,000 kWh of electricity. This reflects a decrease of $3.70 when compared with the current amount of $62.22.
