Florida PSC Considers Items of Interest at Upcoming Commission Conference

TALLAHASSEE — The following items are among those scheduled for consideration by the Florida Public Service Commission (PSC) at the Tuesday, March 13, Commission Conference:

ITEM 3: Docket No. 120043-TP - Proposed amendment of Rule 25-4.160, F.A.C., Operation of Telecommunications Relay Service. The Commission will address a staff recommendation to update a rule to exclude Florida counties from paying the Telecommunications Access System Act fee making it consistent with federal and state agencies.

ITEM 8: Docket No. 110316-EM- Request for approval of electric utilities’ long-term energy emergency plans, filed pursuant to Rule 25-6.0185, Florida Administrative Code. The Commission will consider a staff recommendation to approve the long-term energy emergency plans for 15 Florida utilities.

ITEM 9: Docket No. 120001-EI- Fuel and purchased power cost recovery clause with generating performance incentive factor. The Commission will consider a staff recommendation on a mid-course correction to lower fuel recovery rates for Florida Public Utilities Company’s Northwest Division.

ITEM 13: Docket No. 090539-GU- Petition for approval of Special Gas Transportation Service agreement with Florida City Gas by Miami-Dade County through Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department. The Commission will consider staff recommendations on a settlement agreement for natural gas transport.
