Items of Interest at Upcoming Florida PSC Commission Conference

TALLAHASSEE — The following items are among those scheduled for consideration by the Florida Public Service Commission (PSC) at the Tuesday, April 10, Commission Conference:

ITEM 3: Docket No. 110200-WUApplication for increase in water rates in Franklin County by Water Management Services, Inc.  The Commission will consider a staff recommendation on the procedure to be used in processing the utility’s application for a rate increase.

ITEM 5: Docket No. 110262-EIPetition for approval of new environmental program for cost recovery through Environmental Cost Recovery Clause by Tampa Electric Company (TECO).  The Commission will consider a revised staff recommendation on cost recovery associated with TECO’s new Big Bend Station Gypsum Storage Facility Program at its power station in southeastern Hillsborough County.  (Item was deferred at the March 13 Commission Conference.)

ITEM 8: Docket No. 090445-WSApplication for original certificates for proposed water and wastewater system and request for initial rates in Indian River, Okeechobee, and St. Lucie Counties by Grove Land Utilities, LLC.  The Commission will address a staff recommendation on the establishment of water and wastewater service for a territory spanning more than 11,000 acres in three counties.
